🎵 Premiere Pro releases “Audio Search”

New “Audio Search” feature
This week, Adobe released Premiere Pro v25.6, introducing AI-powered search capabilities and deeper Adobe ecosystem integrations.
The update brings assistive AI features that eliminate tedious searching and manual editing tasks, while new panel integrations reduce context switching across Adobe tools like Adobe Stock and Frame.io.

New “Find Similar” feature
With Premiere Pro, you can now:
Search footage by sound: Describe specific audio you need, like: "dogs barking," "cafe ambiance," or "zippers" — and AI finds matching clips without transcribing anything.
Find visually similar clips: Use "Find Similar" to quickly locate alternate shots or related visuals without endless scrolling through footage.
Bulk censor audio: Use "Censor Transcript" in the text panel to automatically bleep or mute unwanted words (curse words, confidential names, etc.) with customizable sound effects like beeps, honks, or your own audio.
Access Frame.io V4 directly: Import cloud media, sync comments, and share work for review without leaving Premiere, managing all feedback efficiently in your sequence.
Browse Adobe Stock in-panel: Discover, license, and import from over 52 million Adobe Stock videos (including 92,000+ free clips) directly into your project.
Open Firefly videos instantly: Generated videos from the Adobe Firefly website can now open directly in Premiere with one click.
Edit iPhone projects on desktop: Projects started in Premiere on iPhone now open seamlessly on desktop for advanced workflows and fine-tuning.
All features are currently available in Premiere Pro 25.6, alongside performance improvements.
"Object Masking" and Intel NPU-supported "Audio Category Tagger" are currently available in beta.

🧊 Meta releases “SAM 3D”

Meta “SAM 3D Body”
This week, Meta released "SAM 3D," a tool that turns any photo into a 3D model you can rotate, resize, and use in your projects, making thing a game-changer for designers who need 3D assets but don't have the time (or budget) for traditional 3D modeling.
The release includes two models:
SAM 3D Objects: Turn photos of furniture, products, or objects into 3D assets.
SAM 3D Body: Turn creating 3D human models from a single image.
Meta has also previously released "SAM 3," which lets you detect and isolate objects in images or videos using simple text prompts — like typing "red baseball cap" to automatically select all matching objects for editing.

Meta “SAM 3D Objects”
With SAM 3D, you can now:
Generate 3D models instantly: Upload a single photo of furniture, tools, gadgets, or indoor scenes and receive detailed 3D meshes with geometry, texture, and spatial layout in seconds.
Reconstruct human bodies: Use SAM 3D Body to create full-body 3D human meshes from a single image, with support for custom prompts such as segmentation masks and keypoints for increased control.
Visualize products in real spaces: Meta is already using SAM 3D to power Facebook Marketplace's new "View in Room" feature, allowing shoppers to preview furniture and home decor in their own spaces before making a purchase.
Meta has open-sourced everything, making the technology accessible to other companies, developers, creators, and researchers working in AR/VR, gaming, robotics, and digital design.
You can experiment with SAM 3D on Meta's "Segment Anything Playground," a free web-based tool where you can upload images and generate 3D models without any technical expertise.
