📸 Photoshop releases “Gen Upscale”

This week, Adobe released "Generative Upscale" in Photoshop (Beta), an AI-powered tool that enhances image resolution up to 8 megapixels without the quality loss typically seen with traditional upscaling methods.
The tool also applies subtle sharpening and noise reduction, giving older or lower-quality files a cleaner, more refined appearance.
With Generative Upscale, you can now:
Revive old photos: Transform vintage family photos or archival images into high-quality prints by scaling them 2x, 3x, or even 4x their original size.
Adapt assets across platforms: Quickly resize social media graphics or marketing materials for different formats without starting from scratch.
Prepare images for print: Convert web-resolution images into print-ready files with the detail needed for large-format output.
Enhance workflow efficiency: Skip the manual retouching typically required after traditional upscaling methods.
The feature is currently available in Photoshop (Beta) on desktop and web platforms, with no generative credits deducted during the beta period.
You can access it through Image > Generative Upscale or directly from the Image Size dialog.

🤖 OpusClip releases "Agent Opus"

This week, OpusClip announced "Agent Opus," positioning it as the first AI video agent specifically built for social media creation.
The platform allows creators to simply drop in a blog post, audio file, or script, and Agent Opus handles the entire video creation process.
Users will be able to train the AI on their existing content to nail their specific style, making it particularly appealing for creators who have strong content ideas but lack time for complex video editing.
The tool will be able to pull in real-world assets from across the web and generate custom motion graphics without the typical AI aesthetic.
An AI agent is a system that can independently perform tasks and make decisions on your behalf, working more like a virtual team member than a traditional tool that requires step-by-step instructions.

Key capabilities include:
Real-time asset sourcing: Pulls live social posts, news headlines, video clips, and other real-world content to match your story.
Custom motion graphics: Creates animated text, objects, illustrations, and infographics that match your style without cookie-cutter AI visuals.
Style learning: Analyzes your reference videos to automatically match your visual approach and brand aesthetic.
Full creative workflow: Acts as researcher, editor, motion designer, and more in a single tool.
Agent Opus is currently accepting waitlist signups.

🎵 ElevenLabs releases “Video-to-Music”

This week, ElevenLabs released "Video-to-Music", a new feature in ElevenLabs Studio that automatically generates custom soundtracks based on your video's visual context using their Eleven Music model.
The feature reverses the traditional workflow of finding music to fit videos — instead, your video drives the music creation, analyzing visual cues like motion, color palette, pacing, and emotional tone to compose original tracks in seconds.

With Video-to-Music, you can now:
Generate context-aware soundtracks: Upload any video and the AI analyzes visual elements to create music that matches the tone, pace, and emotion of your content automatically.
Work with any video format: Support for MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, and more, with no conversion required, whether your video has existing audio or not
Layer additional audio: Add voiceovers and sound effects directly in Studio after generating your soundtrack for complete audio production.
Iterate quickly: Generate multiple musical options per upload, with the ability to regenerate for different moods like cinematic, upbeat, or ambient.
Export for commercial use: Download high-quality, studio-grade audio cleared for commercial use across social media, advertising, podcasts, and more.
The Studio version supports music generation up to 4 minutes long, while the public demo creates 10-second tracks.
