TOP STORY
🎵 ElevenLabs releases “Eleven Music”

This week, ElevenLabs released a suite of new features that transform "Eleven Music" from a simple generation tool into a comprehensive music platform.

The updates introduce "Explore" (a discovery hub for AI-generated music), "Stems Separation," a "Music Inpainting API," and several editing improvements (capabilities that give creators full control over music discovery, composition, and production).

Eleven Music is an AI music generator that creates studio-quality tracks from text prompts in any genre or style, with or without vocals, in multiple languages.

You can split songs into individual stems/tracks

With the new Eleven Music, you can now:

  • Discover and remix publicly available tracks: Browse thousands of commercial-ready songs through "Explore," filter by genre and mood, and remix pre-tested prompts or fork tracks directly in the music studio.

  • Split songs into individual stems: Separate any track into 2 stems (vocals and instrumental), 4 stems (vocals, drums, bass, others), or 6 stems for granular editing control—priced at 0.5× generation cost for 2 stems and 1× generation cost for 4 stems.

  • Modify specific sections programmatically: Use the "Music Inpainting API" to replace sections, edit lyrics, create loops, extend or shorten tracks, and transform styles without re-rendering entire compositions.

  • Generate clearer lyrics: Improved lyric generation produces more coherent text aligned with song style, with real-time highlighting as lyrics play.

  • Sync music with video: Access precise timestamps for every lyric, enabling tighter synchronization with videos, animations, and captions.

All features are now available, with the Inpainting API and Stem Separation accessible through the ElevenLabs API.

🆎 Affinity releases “Fontsmith Collection”

This week, Affinity released the "Fontsmith Collection," giving away 453 premium font styles to users who purchased Affinity V1 or V2 before November 1, 2025.

The collection, from renowned type foundry Fontsmith (owned by Monotype), is positioned as a "thank you" to loyal customers who supported Affinity's earlier versions. While the new Affinity app is free for everyone, this font library is exclusive to early adopters.

Canva acquired Affinity in March 2024 for $380 million. On October 30, 2025, Canva released the new all-in-one Affinity app (combining Photo, Designer, and Publisher into a single platform) and made it completely free for everyone.

Example fonts from the Fontsmith collection

With the Fontsmith Collection, you can now:

  • Access professional typography: Download and install 453 premium font styles from Fontsmith's library, which includes typefaces like FS Albert, FS Emeric, FS Conrad, and more.

  • Use across projects: Install fonts in both the new Affinity app and Affinity V2, with licensing that allows use in exported work, publications, and websites.

  • Build commercial work: Create designs, branding, and marketing materials with professional-grade typography without additional licensing fees.

The fonts are distributed in Affinity's proprietary .affont format, which means they're designed specifically for use within Affinity's design tools.

Eligible users can claim the collection through their Affinity account and will receive instructions via email over the coming weeks.

🕹 YouTube releases “Playables Builder”

This week, YouTube released "Playables Builder," an AI-powered web app that lets creators build lightweight games without any coding experience.

Powered by Gemini 3, the tool enables creators to develop "fun, bite-sized games in minutes" and share them directly with their audience on YouTube, where games can be played in both mobile apps and on the web.

With Playables Builder, you can now:

  • Create games from text prompts: Describe your game concept in words, like "a puzzle game where you match colored cubes," and AI converts your imagination into playable code.

  • Generate from image uploads: Upload a reference image to inspire your game's visual style, or paste a link to get started with image-based concepts.

  • Build from video concepts: Upload video footage to inspire gameplay mechanics and visual styles, translating motion and action into interactive elements.

YouTube has already partnered with creators like @AyChristene, @sambucha, @goharsguide, and @Mogswamp to create example games, including Sugar Cube, Bucha Blocks, Study Zone, and Dirt Runner 👇

The Playables Builder is currently available in closed beta for select markets, with YouTube accepting applications through a Trusted Tester Opt-In form for creators interested in participating.
